The First Presbyterian Church - Programs
What We Do
Worship is our main priority at the First Presbyterian Church.  Therefore we meet weekly at 10:00am on Sundays to come before the Holy God in worship.  Consider joining us if you are interested in doing the same.

Sunday mornings, before worship we gather for an hour of education in a class that welcomes teens and adults alike.

After worship on Sunday, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for coffee hour where we visit, sip coffee and tea, and nibble cookies.  We're a fun bunch!  And friendly too.

This fall look for:

  • Sunday morning education provided by The Thoughtful Christian
  • Noon Lectionary Bible Study on its new day - Tuesday
  • WAMA sponsored Community Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 20
Some of the things you can catch us doing during the school year include:
  • Wednesday noon Bible Study with the pastor in the Friendship Room
  • Choir practice in the sanctuary Thursday evenings at 7:00pm
  • Presbyterian Women's monthly meeting at 1:00pm
  • Monthly meetings of the Session and Board of Deacons
  • Hosting the Saturday evening worship of the Mount Sinai Fellowship
  • Making our space available for an after school learning assistance program*, a girl scout troop, and a sewing club

* If you are interested in learning more about the After School Enrichment Program housed in our building, feel free to contact the staff of After School Program, 120 W. Maple Street, Willard, Ohio 44890 at this phone number, (419) 933-6936.

"The same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him . . . . But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed?  And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone ot proclaim him?  And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent?"
Romans 10:12-15
